▷ Access to my NYC + US + international network of professionals
▷ Unlimited access to photos of my dog, Nacho, the sweetest pup in town
Please note: This 1-month package does not include a resume rewrite, but we can use part of our session to discuss your resume and/or LinkedIn profile
Sessions can be conducted over the phone or video. Available platforms include:
▷ Google Meet
Ideally, I'd love to meet all my clients in person at some point but due to a busy travel schedule this usually proves difficult (however, please feel free to ask).
If accountability is what you seek, I can provide homework. Most of my clients are mid- to senior-level clients who have very little time for busy work.
The real work happens not so much during our sessions (which can themselves be intense yet fun) but in the time between our sessions, when you can digest your insights, organically question your motivations and behaviors, apply what you've learned, and experiment and learn new things. Most of my clients do not ask for formal homework, but some do, and I am happy to accommodate.
Topics / Agenda:
Career Coaching can be as structured and hyper-focused or as organic and free-flowing as needed to get the results each client needs, wants, or deserves. We may occasionally use assessments or we may avoid them at all costs (sometimes assessments are a gargantuan waste of time if we already know where the problem exists). Coaching areas of focus (id est, topics) depend on the client and may include:
▷ Personal branding / elevator pitch development
▷ Job search target / career direction + clarity
▷ Interviewing prep (Zoom interviews, in-person interviews)
▷ Networking skills (online/via LinkedIn and offline aka IRL aka in real life)
▷ Salary negotiation
▷ Starting a new job / onboarding gracefully in the first 90 days
▷ Confidence building
▷ Assertive communication skills in the workplace
▷ EQ-driven employee engagement and motivation
▷ Effective management of teams and cross-functional collaboration
▷ Building thought leadership / strong industry presence
The sole requirement is that you enter this engagement with an open mind. In full transparency, I used to ask that people start with a positive mindset and positive energy but sometimes they're so beaten down by a toxic industry, awful company, or abusive boss, that it's unfair for me to expect clients to come into a coaching engagement all happy and cheery, wearing rose-colored glasses. It takes time to undo years of workplace stress and de-program a human being from awful societal expectations, fears, and distorted ideas that we've internalized for decades.
In 15 years I don't think I have ever been asked for a refund on my coaching engagements. If you have any concerns, please schedule a 15-minute complimentary chat with me to determine whether working with me is the right fit. I am highly adaptable and have helped everyone from Type A CEO's to laid-back small family-owned business owners, and everyone in between. I give every client 100% (I don't believe in 101% or 110%--what even is that?). I give every client engagement my full attention (my phone is off during calls), my boundless creativity and my energy and support, and when I get the same in return from my client--magic happens!
But at the end of the day, I am not for everyone. I will happily refer you to other coaches if you're not a fit for me.
